- American Animal Hospital Association
Sajo Farm Veterinary Hospital is proud to be among the approximately 3,000 veterinary practices in the nation certified by the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA). AAHA is the world’s leading association of small animal practitioners. Choosing an AAHA-accredited veterinary hospital for your pet’s medical care ensures that the hospital you have selected has the facilities, equipment, staff and medical protocols that are important for the delivery of high-quality care. To keep up with the growing wealth of knowledge in veterinary care, our veterinarians and support staff participate in continuing education and training on a regular basis. We will continue to meet AAHA’s high standards to provide quality medical and surgical care.

- ResQ Microchip Home Page
ResQ Microchipoffers your pet lifelong identification. A microchip encased in biocompatible material is placed just under the skin and has an anti-migration cap to help prevent movement within your pet’s body. ResQ scanners can recognize all brands of microchips currently used in the United States including encrypted and un-encrypted 125 kHz microchips and other ISO-compliant 134.2 kHz microchips. The microchip contains an unalterable ID code that is activated only when read by a compatible scanner. It is completely safe for dogs, and can be implanted at anytime.
- Veterinary Pet Insurance
Several companies now offer pet health insurance. We recommend you contact these companies and explore the option of insurance for your pets. Carefully study the benefits offered by each company. Most owners expect to pay for the complete preventative care (heartworm prevention, vaccinations, and flea prevention) but are not prepared for emergencies, major surgery or extended illnesses. We recommend you take time to consider this option as a way to prepare for a possible unexpected, long-standing illness. We recommend Veterinary Pet Insurance: 1-800-USA-PETS.

- Laser Surgery
WHY LASER SURGERY?
Less Pain - Laser energy seals nerve ending as it moves through tissue. Your pet feels less pain post-operatively.
Less Bleeding – The laser seals small blood vessels during surgery which allows your doctor to perform surgeries with extraordinary precision. This also speeds some procedures reducing the need for Sevoflurane Anesthesia.
Less Swelling – Laser energy does not crush, tear, or bruise the tissue because only a beam of intense light contacts the tissue.
